I am currently working toward a master's degree in public administration at Drake University in Des Moines. One of the uber-cool aspects of Drake's MPA program is the Spring European Travel Course -- a chance to study a particular topic (the theme changes each year) and compare governmental and non-profit/NGO systems in Europe to systems in the U.S. This year's theme is centered around food policy, sustainability and hunger issues.
Even cooler than offering this course is allowing significant others to travel along. Since I couldn't imagine traveling Europe for 18 days without Gianfranco, off we go! (What a good sport he is, huh?)
